House star Hugh Laurie will be heard playing piano on the next Meat Loaf album.
While the House star is best known for his acting he has had a few music roles over the years. He appeared in the Kate Bush video for the 1986 single ?ÇÿExperiment IV?ÇÖ and was also seen in Annie Lennox?ÇÖs clip for ?ÇÿWalking On Broken Glass?ÇÖ.
Meat Loaf is about to release his new album ?ÇÿHang Cool Teddy Bear?ÇÖ and apart from Laurie the album also features Queen?ÇÖs Brian May, Jack Black, Just Hawkins from the Darkness, Steve Vai and songs written by American Idol judge Kara Dioguardi.
?ÇÿHang Cool Teddy Bear?ÇÖ is a concept album based on a short story by Killian Kerwin about a man wounded in a war.
The album will be released on April 23.
Meat Loaf will be in Australia next week to talk it up.
