Completist Smashing Pumpkins fans will have buy 'Zeitgeist' three times to get the full experience.

Pitchfork Media have reported that the forthcoming album from Smashing Pumpkins will be released in four different formats, exclusive to major distributors, in an effort to squeeze the most out of die-hard fans who must own all the bands' music.

'Zeitgeist' is reported to feature twelve tracks in its original format, on offer from most retailers. US giant Target will get a version with the titled song as a bonus track. iTunes will include a song called 'Stellar'. US retailer Best Buy's version will have a song called 'Death From Above' as a bonus track. Also, the iTunes pre-ordered version will have bonus tracks of Smashing Pumpkins covers performed by acts like The Academy Is…, The Bravery, Panic! At The Disco, +44 and more.

This means that slavering fans, who have been waiting seven years for the latest studio album, will conceivably have to buy it three times from three different outlets to get all the available songs from the 'Zeitgeist' sessions. Those with the cash and inclination can shell out on July 10.
