Details have been spilled about Dave Gahan's upcoming solo album.
The album will be entitled 'Hourglass' and will be released through Mute on the last weekend of October. The first single, 'Kingdom' is due out today (August 27) in digital form.
The little bit that we have heard sounds a lot like Depeche Mode's more industrial moments. Not too dissimilar to Gahan's solo debut 'Paper Monsters' from 2003.
Gahan's solo albums are an outlet for his writing, whereas in Depeche Mode the writing was left up to Martin L. Gore.
The track listing for 'Hourglass' is:
1. Saw Something
2. Kingdom
3. Deeper and Deeper
4. 21 Days
5. Miracles
6. Use You
7. Insoluble
8. Endless
9. A Little Lie
10. Down
