Elvis has reclaimed his spot from Kurt Cobain as the highest earning dead celebrity.
Forbes has released their 2007 list of top-earning dead celebs, with six of the thirteen being musicians. Presley regains his position at the top after last year's Cobain hiccup. Despite executor Courtney Love selling publishing rights last year, Cobain's earnings weren't enough to get him into the top thirteen.
John Lennon shot from four to two after lawsuits with Apple and EMI were settled, this also helping George Harrison to climb from twelve last year to four this year.
Ray Charles and Johnny Cash have been bumped off the list from last year, replaced by Tupac Shakur at number seven and James Brown at number eleven.
Bob Marley jumped up one spot from last year to number twelve through royalties as the highest-selling reggae star ever.
