Yoko Ono has licensed John Lennon's 'Real Love' for a JC Penney commercial.
The commercial began airing on Sunday night on the US network ABC during the show 'Brothers and Sisters'.
'Real Love' was a posthumously released Lennon song. The solo version first appeared on the 'Imagine' soundtrack and then Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison turned it into a Beatles song when they added their parts and released it on Anthology.
Yoko did the deal with ad agency Saatchi and Saatchi.
This is not the first time a Beatles song has been used in a commercial. Some years back, the song 'Revolution' was used for a Nike commercial.
