Rapper DMX Arrested For Skipping Out On Hospital Bill

Rapper DMX was arrested in a Phoenix shopping mall on Saturday (July 19) for allegedly giving a false name and Social Security number to a hospital in April.
The rapper, born Earl Simmons, visited Scottsdale’s Mayo Clinic in April using the name ‘Troy Jones’, and failed to settle a bill of US$7,500, according to Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Simmons has had several run-ins with authorities recently, including an arrest on felony drug possession, another for attempting to buy cocaine and marijuana, plus an investigation of animal cruelty and an arrest for outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court.
Arpaio explained, “He’s back in jail again. I don’t know why judges keep letting this guy out. Every time he goes in there, he gets out on bond. I’m hoping this is the one time he’s going to pay the penalty for his offense.”
