Gabriella Cilmi will showcase at the famed Aussie BBQ at SXSW in Austin, Texas next month.
The addition of Cilmi to the event is great coup for the singer who is about to launch her debut album in the United States.
The Aussie BBQ has developed into one of the ?Ç£must see?Ç¥ events at the music festival and conference.
SXSW attracts around 1200 bands performing in more than 80 venues over 4 days in Austin.
Gabriella will join an impressive line-up of Aussie talent performing at Brush Square Park in Austin on Friday March 19. The night before, she will play at La Zona Rosa, the old auto workshop that has been turned into a music venue.
Also playing that day are Josh Pyke, The Drones, The Boat People, Birds of Tokyo, The Fumes, Temper Trap, My Disco, The Grates and Red Riders.
The Australian showcases will also take place in Los Angeles at The Echo, Echo Park on March 15 and at The Bell House in Brooklyn on March 26.
