The Beatles` `All Together Now` will be the soundtrack to a new Budweiser advertisement.
The song has been licensed for the television commercial but it will not be the original Beatles version we will hear. London duo The Hours went into the studio to lay down a new version of the song for the ad.
It is a lo-fi recording. The Hours recorded their version in a hotel rom.
More money was thrown at the production. The ad was filmed over a five day period on a train in Chicago.
‘All Together Now’ was one of those throwaway Beatles ditties. Paul McCartney wrote it as a children’s song and the band recorded it for the ‘Yellow Submarine’ soundtrack.
It was never a single.
