Wrestler Captain Lou Albano, also known in music circles for his appearance in Cyndi Lauper`s `Girls Just Wanna Have Fun` video, has died at the age of 76.
Lou was one of the big names of WWF worked closely with Lauper in the 80s and appears in a number of her videos like ?ÇÿTime After Time?ÇÖ, ?ÇÿShe Bop?ÇÖ and ?ÇÿGoonies R Good Enough?ÇÖ.
In 2008, Lou wrote the forward to Cyndi?ÇÖs autobiography ?ÇÿOften Imitated, Never Duplicated?ÇÖ.
He became a well-known face on television, appearing on shows such as Miami Vice and in 1989 became a cartoon character as the voice of Mario for 17 episodes of ?ÇÿThe Super Mario Bros. Super Show?ÇÖ.
Lou suffered a heart attack in 2005 and only last week was admitted to hospice care after being in poor health for several years.
